The Mighty Green Bliss with Tofu

I am vegetarian and do not eat meat or fish, icing on the cake is having life threatening allergy from egg so here is my source of proteins:
Ingredients:
1oo gms firm tofu
1/2 cup broccoli florets
For gravy
10 Almonds
1/2 cup fresh cilantro
1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
1 cup Spinach
1-2 green chilies
2 tsp chopped fresh ginger
1 garlic clove
125 ml (1/2 cup) water
For the seasoning:
1 tbsp coconut oil
2 cloves
3 green cardamom pods
4 to 5 peppercorns
2 cups water
1½ tsp salt
Lemon juice
Method:
- Pat dry and cut tofu in cubes.
- Grind the ingredients mentioned for gravy into a paste using the water with the help of a blender.
- In a medium sized pan, heat oil over a low flame. While it heats up, put the crushed cloves, cardamom pods, peppercorns.
- This releases more aroma and flavors.
- Add in the ground paste and saute for 4 to 5 minutes until the raw smell disappears.
- Add the blanched broccoli , pour in the water and bring the entire mixture to a boil. Now add tofu.
- Cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Put in the salt and lime juice and turn off the heat. Serve hot.
