Green Goodness in a Glass

 

The combination of apple, Kiwi, orange, avocado and spinach might sound a little strange, but together these beautiful ingredients create an amazing ocean of flavors. Avocados are available in plenty these days so I try to use it in everything – it makes a fantastically creamy, wonderfully healthy substitute for dairy. Here is the recipe of smoothie – High energy Green and healthy beyond belief.

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 apple, cored
  • 1/2 avocado, peeled and pitted
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1 kiwi
  • 1 orange
  • 2 tsp chia seeds
  • 4 to 5 ounces of filtered water
  • A few ice cubes to chill
  • Dashes of cayenne pepper
  • Black salt (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Simply add all the ingredients to your blender, top up with water and blend for 45 seconds until everything is thoroughly incorporated.
  2. Drink straightaway.

You can toast a bread and make a guacamole spread too, full healthy, soothing breakfast. Comfort food!!!
