Green Goodness in a Glass
The combination of apple, Kiwi, orange, avocado and spinach might sound a little strange, but together these beautiful ingredients create an amazing ocean of flavors. Avocados are available in plenty these days so I try to use it in everything – it makes a fantastically creamy, wonderfully healthy substitute for dairy. Here is the recipe of smoothie – High energy Green and healthy beyond belief.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 apple, cored
- 1/2 avocado, peeled and pitted
- 2 cups spinach
- 1 kiwi
- 1 orange
- 2 tsp chia seeds
- 4 to 5 ounces of filtered water
- A few ice cubes to chill
- Dashes of cayenne pepper
- Black salt (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Simply add all the ingredients to your blender, top up with water and blend for 45 seconds until everything is thoroughly incorporated.
- Drink straightaway.
You can toast a bread and make a guacamole spread too, full healthy, soothing breakfast. Comfort food!!!
