Gluten Free Oats Tortilla-Homemade flour

 

When you are already in to fitness and health regimes and away from gluten for more than a year. But being human- craving for some breads. This recipes comes to aid to your diet. Oats- rich in fiber, lowers bad cholesterol and is such an easy to handle ingredient, hence is one of the awesome known among diet-friendly ingredients.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup rolled or old fashion oats
  • Food Processor or blender
Instructions
  1. Place the oats into your food processor.
  2. Pulse the oats until they are ground into a powder-like consistency.
  3. This process should take 60 seconds or less
  4. Stir to ensure that all the oats have been finely ground.
  5. Your  oat flour is ready.
  6. Knead the flour using water. You can mix vegetables, Avocado, fenugreek, lentil soup to make the dough. It makes the dough really soft.

Roll out the totillas : I cut a ziplock bag or cellophane sheet or even grocery bag,  cut it with scissors and then place the dough ball inside.
Cover it with upper sheet of ziplock press it with the chopping board or roll it with rolling pin.
Peel off  the roti/bread in the palm  gently from the sheet. Place on flat  pan and cook.
