Fresh Strawberry Yogurt
Let’s feed our kids safer foods.
Packaged foods are loaded with additives and preservatives to control color, taste, shelf life. We can’t control everything but atleast a drop in the ocean. Keep trying whatever we can.
Involve them too in the kitchen- make the selection nutrient dense — not calorie dense. That means fruits and vegetables, not cookies for snacks.
When summer arrives, strawberries are in season, this is the perfect way to enjoy them. Involve kids too to whirl up the fruits with yogurt for a creamy, juicy, nutty refreshing snack. Orange chunks adds a sweet tanginess and nuts gives a nice crunch.
