I don’t think that I can thank you enough for everything you have done for me. I have always struggled to keep my weight in check right from my teenage days.
I don’t think that I can thank you enough for everything you have done for me. matters worse, I am a foodie and I have a sweet tooth. During a routine annual check up, my doctor pointed out that I was at a high risk of weight and lifestyle related health issues. This was a wake up call for me and I decided to try all the different “diets” out there and exercise. I was still not consistent in my quest to be healthy and this reflected in my ever increasing weight. I was quickly growing out of clothes I had bought just a couple of months ago. Then one day talking to my cousin, I came to know about Redefining TasteBuds and Samta, and decided to approach her. From here began my journey towards weight loss and healthy lifestyle. Samta has good understanding of nutrition and helps to incorporate it with ones own body type. I soon realized that the reason why I gave up on the “diets” before RTB was because they had too many extra things going on and were complicated. The meal plans I received from Samta were simple, effortless to follow and took my indian palate into consideration. I did not have to make any drastic changes to my eating habits, just had to incorporate a few healthy tweaks. A healthy diet combined with regular exercise and I could see my body transform in just a couple of weeks. My clothes were fitting me again, which made me more determined to just keep at it. A fairly large portion of my journey took place during the Covid pandemic. An event of this scale would have easily reverted me back to my unhealthy habits but constant motivation from Samta truly helped me keep my focus towards my goal of being fit. During a time when social is filled with jokes about weight gain due to stay at home orders, I can proudly say that I managed to not only maintain but actually lose weight. Over the period of 3 months, I was able to lose close to 30 pounds, a number I previously thought was almost impossible for me to achieve. Although my 12 week program has come to an end, it does not mean my journey towards fitness has ended, instead I have new goals that I am striving to achieve. Thank you Samta!
